Acclaimed author, artist and photographer, Judith Dupré explores the power of architecture through the construction of One World Trade Center. As the only writer granted unfettered access during the building’s construction, Dupré examines architecture’s ability to convey beauty and grace, in addition to the emotional and spiritual history of the site. A graduate of Brown and Yale universities, Dupré is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is a 2015 National Endowment for the Humanities Public Scholar.

Sana Tayyen and her son, Ahmed, will share their experiences of working, studying and living as American Muslims in Los Angeles. Representation, politics and the culture of faith will be among the many topics. Father James L. Heft, S.M., from USC’s Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies will moderate, with audience questions to follow. Dr.Tayyen is currently a Lecturer of Religion at USC. Spend an evening with leading Evangelical theologian and philosopher, Richard Mouw, as he explores the relationship between Catholics and Evangelicals in the United States, both past and present. Dr. Mouw, who has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Chicago, served for 20 years as the president of Fuller Seminary, the largest evangelical seminary in the United States.
