Sana Tayyen and her son, Ahmed, will share their experiences of working, studying and living as American Muslims in Los Angeles. Representation, politics and the culture of faith will be among the many topics. Father James L. Heft, S.M., from USC’s Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies will moderate, with audience questions to follow. Dr.Tayyen is currently a Lecturer of Religion at USC. Spend an evening with leading Evangelical theologian and philosopher, Richard Mouw, as he explores the relationship between Catholics and Evangelicals in the United States, both past and present. Dr. Mouw, who has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Chicago, served for 20 years as the president of Fuller Seminary, the largest evangelical seminary in the United States.
